Abortion Lobby Funding Hypocrisy

Planned Parenthood received over 1/2 a billion tax payer dollars in 2014 to help fund what selling baby parts didn’t cover.

After the undercover videos of the illegal sale of baby parts were uncovered, Planned Parenthood’s funding was in jeopardy, at which point the abortion lobby began a campaign of fear to help protect the gravy train.

So, on one hand, the abortion provider Planned Parenthood advocates for public funds, even predicts catastrophic consequences for woman in general if they do not receive tax payer funding, and on the other hand, the National Abortion Rights Action League advocated against government funding for ultrasound availability for clinics.

Abortion activist Alison Herwitt is the former director of government relations for the National Abortion Rights Action League (NORAL) spoke out in 2003 in opposition to H.R. 195. This bill sponsored by U.S. Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla. subsidized the purchases of ultrasound machines by health clinics. You would think, giving woman access to the best medical science has to offer would be advocated by NORAL and its representatives, you would be wrong. She is quoted in an article by Karla Dial entitled, Bringing Good Things To Life;

“They don’t want them to go to Planned Parenthood, where they’ll get their full range of options. They just want them to go to crisis pregnancy centers, where women will be exposed to this weapon at taxpayers’ expense.”

Alison is right, ultrasounds have turned out to be a weapon against ignorance for the woman who wants to be informed on the “full range of options”
